Mijas – Marbella

Green Hill is located almost halfway between the hugely popular towns of Marbella and Fuengirola on the boundary of the municipalities of Mijas Costa and Marbella.

There are watersport facilities galore from Kayaks and paddle boards to Jetski hire and dolphin / whale watching tours.

It is an area of outstanding natural beauty of umbrella pine trees, stunning beaches and with the newly opened boardwalk that hugs the coastline stretching 6 kilometres to the delightful and cosmopolitan small town of La Cala de Mijas.

Calahonda and Mijas Costa

Calahonda is a large cosmopolitan community favoured by all nationalities for both permanent residential living and a very popular vacation destination- therefore packed with every kind of amenity and facility to service the need of such a community.

International schools, Tennis clubs, golf academies and championship courses and of course shopping malls are all within a short drive.

The shopping centre “ El Zoco “ accessed via the “strip “ which features many bars and restaurants of all types houses not only in the large supermarkets but also a variety of local specialist shops which cater for all nationalities.
You will find the main post office, ironmongers, banks, newsagents, and furniture stores to florists.

A twice weekly market is also held at Calypso, the area next to “El Zoco.”

Beach living

There is a 16th Century watchtower which stood lookout for the invading enemy, only nowadays the people arriving are friendly overseas visitors seeking the great weather and myriad of simple beach bars and fish restaurants that adjoin the wonderful boardwalk that caters for morning joggers but also evening strollers enjoying the spectacular sunsets.
